Membership Application

This Membership invitation is for a General Membership aka Friends of the Museum and is not an invitation to be one of our Board of Directors. We require a certain number of members according to the new rules of the Society’s Act and we wish to invite you to join our Museum and Society as members. All participation is purely voluntary. We will try and keep you notified of any special events and are currently working on trying to update our Website: https://michifmetismuseum.webs.com/ We have an AGM towards the end of each year which you are welcome to attend in person or via telephone or email. Notice will be emailed to each member approximately four weeks in advance along with the Agenda, previous year AGM Minutes and current Financial Statements. Your valuable input and votes will be most welcomed and appreciated.

Note: There are no Membership Dues at this time and may be determined, at a later date. If you wish, any contributions would be appreciated with a receipt for any amount $10.00 and over, if requested. All cheques to be made payable to the ‘Michif Historical and Cultural Preservation Society’. We are in the process of obtaining funding and have signed an MOU Agreement with the BC Metis Federation, 300 – 3665 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V5R 5W2, which took place at their 2019 AGM, October 05th, 2019 in Kelowna, BC.
